THIPILLI/LONG PEPPER

Indian Long Pepper belongs to the pepper family. Scientifically known as Piper Longum, this medicinal plant is known as Arisi Thippili or Thippili in Tamil and Pippali in Hindi. Raw Thippilli is collected and sun-dried before packed. It has several medical usages like curing a cold, cough, digestion problems, removing toxins and many more.

Usage of Thippili

• You can mix powdered Thippilli with milk or honey and have it directly.
• Make Thipilli rasam by powdering whole pepper and mixing it with other Rasam ingredients. This is famously known as Kandanthipilli Rasam
